Are Lil Wayne and Birdman making good in 2016? After spending
the past year feuding, the one-time friends and business partners
reunited at Drake’s New Year’s Eve party at E11even nightclub in Miami.
Young Money president Mack Maine posted the proof, a photo of them in
the club alongside Drake and 2 Chainz. However, it’s unclear if
they’ve buried the hatchet or just posed for a photo together.
“Happy New Year ya heard me!!! Yea that’s Stunna yea that’s Tune yea
that’s 2Chainz yea that Hood yea that’s T@ yea that’s Mack yea 2 da yea
love 2 da love!!!!
#FamilyLiveAtDrakePartyHePerformingRightNow,” tweeted
Mack Maine.
It would be quite an unexpected turn of events. Last January, Wayne sued
Birdman for $51 million and his release from Cash Money. He also took
several shots at the Cash Money boss on social media and on records.
When interviewed by Angie Martinez, Birdman shrugged off any beef. “Wayne forever my son. That ain’t gon’ change,” he said. “I think what’s going on is just some business, and my perspective is, I’ma do whatever he wanna do.”
During the New Year’s festivities, Drake performed and also got on the mic to announce that his long-awaited album Views From the 6 is “coming very soon.”
